Marina de Gijón Sailing School, founded in 1993, the first nautical academy approved in Asturias, as well as a service company in the nautical sector, based in the Marina of Gijón, which focuses its activities on:
- Rental of pleasure boats.
- Nautical Excursions in the ports of the Asturian coast
- Sailing Cruise Courses, through the Sailing School
- Nautical Academy Information of the new Sailing License. Navigation License allows to govern recreational boats both motor and sailing with a length of up to 6 meters, without power limit. Daytime navigation as long as they do not go more than two nautical miles in any direction from a port, marina or place of shelter. And Jet Skis without power limitation. Planning:
- Total duration of the course: 6 hours, in a single practical session on board. Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years old or 16 years old with parental authorization
- Complete the theoretical part and the practical part.
- To present a specific psycho-technical medical certificate for Navigation License, similar to that of the driving license, obtained in a Driver Recognition Center
- Photocopy of ID card
- This qualification does not require a theoretical or practical exam, as well as it is not necessary to renew it.

Course for groups of 4 or more persons: 90 € per person
