Description

Would you like to come on a hiking route?

We propose a guided hiking route, in small groups, with the option of transport if you get on in Xixón or Oviedo.

Each route is different. We group our routes by thematic cycles, depending on the time of the year, cultural, historical, geographic interests...

We like that going out in the mountains in Asturias is much more than just walking. And we are interested in taking care of the human, cultural and environmental aspects...

Prices

- Participant: 37€/person.

***Non-competitive activity, although a minimum level of fitness is required for most of the activities. It is recommended to read carefully the technical data and risks of each activity. The activities take place in the natural environment, coastal areas, mountains, gorges.... There are generally multiple risks, both objective and subjective. Therefore, it is essential to follow the instructions of the guide, being aware that in any case we are in an uncontrolled natural environment, so there are risks that cannot be avoided, and that are inherent to the activity. If you have personal circumstances that affect the activity, please consult us in advance.

- Guided hiking route.
- Civil Liability and Accident Insurance.
- Loan of walking sticks.
- Transport in passenger van (8 seats) with stops in Oviedo and Gijón. Subject to availability.
- Approximate duration of the route 7 hours (see specific specifications for each route on the agenda.

Activity details

- Minors: Depending on the route (please consult). In any case, they must be accompanied by an adult with parental authority and must follow the guide's instructions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ACTIVITY
This is an activity offered by Asturian Ways, as mountain guides. In all matters not described in this document, the terms and conditions established by the company for its services will apply.
GENERAL MOUNTAIN PRECAUTIONS
- The activity that we are going to carry out takes place in a natural environment, the mountain, which must be respected and requires careful environmental behaviour. It is very important to always walk on paths, unless the circumstances of the terrain make this impossible or the guide indicates otherwise. We will avoid any kind of impact on the environment.
- The activity that we are going to carry out is an activity that takes place in a natural environment, not controlled by man and that has risks that cannot be completely controlled by the guide and the company.
CONDITIONS OF THE ACTIVITY
- The activity is led by a qualified guide and is carried out within his or her professional competence. The guide is in charge of the activity, and you must abide by his or her decisions during the activity. The person guiding the group will be the one to decide, in justified circumstances and always prioritising the safety of the activity, to carry out alternative activities or, in extreme cases, to suspend them.
- All activities will be described prior to the activity. Specifically, the place where the activity is to be carried out, how to get to the starting point, the characteristics of the activity and the prerequisites for carrying it out will be indicated. A non-binding estimate of the duration of the activity will always be made.
- Participants acknowledge that they have no health or other impediments to carrying out the activity. In the event of having any type of condition that could affect their ability to take part in the activity, they must inform the guide sufficiently in advance, and in any case prior to the start of the activity.
- Whenever material is provided by the company for the activity, it will be returned at the end of the activity in correct condition. In the event of breakage, loss or damage, the value of the equipment must be paid for.
- All participants must take individual precautions before carrying out the activity. This includes appropriate clothing and footwear and the provision of food and water (minimum one and a half litres) for the activity. This is an essential requirement to participate in the activity.
QUORUM
The guided routes will be carried out, unless otherwise indicated, for groups of 4-12 people. It may be done for a smaller number of people, starting from 2, with a variation in the price offered.
MINORS
Minors must bring an authorisation signed by the person who has custody or parental authority or be accompanied by them.
DOGS
Activities may be carried out with dogs, provided that the environment allows it and that coexistence with the area and the rest of the group is possible. In general, and especially in protected or livestock areas, dogs are not allowed to run loose.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
The trekking activities must be paid for in full before the start of the activities.
CANCELLATIONS
Users may cancel their booking, under the following conditions
o A) from the time of booking up to 4 calendar days before the activity. No cost, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
o B) from 4 days before to 24 hours before the activity. 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
In the event that the company cancels the activity, it may alternatively offer the following options:
o A) 100% refund of the amount paid.
o B) Carrying out another alternative activity
o C) Postponement of this or another activity to another date.
It will not be considered a cancellation if, once the route has started, it has to be altered, varied or cancelled for objective reasons.
CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLING THE RESERVATION-COVID 19 Any reservation may be cancelled free of charge in the event that, due to the situation caused by COVID-19, public powers are introduced by the public authorities that prevent the displacement or development of the activity.
COVID-19 MEASURES
Masks must be worn at all times when the two-metre safety distance cannot be guaranteed. Where it can be guaranteed, its use is optional.
In the event of any person presenting compatible symptoms, he/she should refrain from attending the scheduled activity. The guides may remove any person with compatible symptoms from the activity.
DATA PROTECTION
The data provided will be used by Asturian Ways (Juan Miguel Piedehierro Gutiérrez). In no case will data be provided to third parties, unless they are essential for the development of the contracted activities.
The clients confirm that they understand these conditions and express their consent to them.
