Welcome to the JR Cider Cider Mill!

Our history dates back to 1910 with the Rodriguez family. The passing of the years and the adaptation to the new times make us continue making our cider with the most modern techniques, but without leaving aside the tradition and naturalness of this product.

 In this visit we will show you the whole process that we carry out since the apple is in the tree, until it is transformed into cider and bottled.

We will know the route of the apple until it arrives to the cider mill, we will see the crushing and pressing area, where the sweet apple must comes out and we will continue through the tanks and barrels where this so much our drink ferments.

We will finish in one of our cellars, tasting some "culines espichados de tonel" that will make you leave with a very good taste in your mouth.

With this experience, we will expand our journey through the Trabanco world in a more complete visit, in which in addition to learning about the origins and tradition of the family, we will delve into their philosophy of the future.

A short walk through Lavandera, enjoying the landscape and ethnography, to reach our winery the Cider Tunnel, which represents the growth and commitment to new challenges.

 A railway tunnel built in the early twentieth century, which was to serve as a line to transport coal from the Cuenca Minera to the port of Musel in Gijón. This ghost line keeps today more than a million liters of cider and our family museum.

We will finish the visit leaving for this moment the cider pouring course and a barrel cider tasting.
